Galoya Eco Park Safari

The Gal Oya Eco Park is an emerging, lesser-known wildlife reserve managed by the Forest Department, located near the Habarana and Minneriya areas. It serves as a great, uncrowded off-the-beaten-path destination for spotting wild Asian elephants, deer, and exotic birdlife, particularly during the dry season. It is a fantastic refuge to observe massive herds of wild elephants without the massive crowds found in neighboring Minneriya or Kaudulla National Parks.
