About this experience
See the main sights of Issyk-Kul's south shore in two days, without crossing to the resort-lined north shore, and spend the night in a yurt camp in Jeti-Oguz gorge. On day one you watch a golden eagle hunting show by a local berkutchi, walk through the red sandstone ridges of Skazka canyon and hike to two waterfalls in Barskoon gorge, Manas Bowl and Tears of the Snow Leopard. On day two you see the Seven Bulls and Broken Heart rocks, walk up to the Shatyly Viewpoint over the lake, stroll through the colorful Ak-Sai canyons and finish with an hour on a wild beach.
Transport, an English-speaking guide for both days, the eagle show, eco fees, dinner and breakfast at the camp are included. Both days are long, with about 9 hours on the road each day.
