About this experience
☀️ JULY & AUGUST ONLY ☀️
⏰ NEW EARLIER START: 9:00 AM (was 10:00 AM)
SPECIAL SUMMER ROUTE — all downhill! We take the local village bus from Anguk Station up to the top of Bukchon, then stroll gently downhill through the old alleys. No sweaty climbs — just the views, the stories, and the breeze. (Bus fare's on me — included!) Beat the heat & the crowds.
I grew up in Bukchon, long before it became one of Seoul's most visited neighborhoods. Since February 2025, guests from around the world have made this storytelling tour deeply rewarding.
Bukchon sat at the heart of Korean politics, economy, and culture from 1392 into the 1980s. Guided by a storyteller born and raised here — a filmmaker and screenwriting professor — you'll wander its alleys and the stories within them.
Please note before booking:
• Recommended for ages 13+ (storytelling-focused).

• Restrooms available at the 30-, 60- and 90-min points.
