Join me for a one-on-one ride through Parquemet — one of Latin America's largest urban parks — with panoramic views of the city and the Andes. We ride at a relaxed pace through scenic roads, nature trails, and cultural viewpoints while talking about Santiago. We meet on Santiago's eastern side and get ready with high performance bikes and helmets before setting off through safe bike lanes toward the park, getting a glimpse of everyday life and local cycling culture along the way. At Bellavista Terrace, we pause for a traditional Chilean drink before continuing to a viewpoint over the modern skyline of "Sanhattan." We finish along the scenic Ciclovía 42K beside the Mapocho River, taking in the last stretches of the city's landscape on the way back.
