Seeing a magnificent sunrise over the high mountains as the rising sun each morning turns the snowcapped peaks to an orangish-red before they become a brilliant, magnificent white! And the best place to see a wonderful sunrise is from the top of Poon Hill in the Annapurna Mountains.  Poon Hill is famous throughout the world for its magnificent sunrises. The Annapurna Range is one of the most beautiful of all the mountain ranges in the Himalayas. Himalayan Advisor is proud to be able to offer this short trek into the Annapurna’s to see the finest sunrise anywhere in the world.  This is not a high elevation trek, with the maximum elevation being at Poon Hill (elev. 3221 m/10,568 ft.). It is considered a moderately easy trek. It begins in Pokhara and ends four days later at the spectacular lakeside city where you can enjoy all of the luxuries of Pokhara.
