Zanzibar Blue Lagoon Snorkeling and Sandbank Tour with BBQ

Your full-day adventure begins around 8:00 AM with hotel pickup from main areas in Zanzibar (if selected). Travel near Fumba and board a traditional wooden dhow, sailing across the turquoise waters of Menai Bay, a protected marine reserve. First stop is a sandbank, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and fresh tropical fruits. With mask, snorkel, and fins included, explore coral reefs full of marine life (please do not touch wildlife for conservation reasons). Around 11:30 AM, continue to the hidden Blue Lagoon, a mangrove-surrounded tidal pool where swimming depends on the tide. Next, visit Kwale Island with its ancient baobab tree. Relax on the beach and enjoy a beachside BBQ lunch with seafood, grilled dishes, rice, salads, and tropical juices (vegetarian options available). In the late afternoon, sail back toward Fumba. Fresh fruit and drinks are served on board while enjoying sunset views over the Indian Ocean. Return around 6:00 PM with hotel drop-off (if selected).
