The tour begins the Rosenkrantz Tower and ends at the Old Bergen Town Hall, passing St. Mary`s Church, Bryggen, and the Cathedral along the way. Along the route, you’ll hear stories of sexual morality and its frequent violations, a Church that preached strict ideals while often struggling to live up to them, violence and conflict in a society with limited formal control, alcohol-fuelled disputes, and the everyday choices that shaped life, reputation, and survival in the city.
