Berat Cooking Class Traditional Albanian Cooking Class

The tour starts with a convenient pick-up from our office, located near the city center. From there, we will head to Nina’s house, located inside the historic Castle of Berat. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by Nina, our local host and experienced cook. The cooking class begins with a short introduction to the traditional dishes we will prepare. You will receive all the ingredients and tools needed, while Nina will guide you step by step through the cooking process. During the class, you will have the chance to prepare two or three traditional Albanian dishes, depending on your preferences and availability. Some examples include Stuffed Eggplants and Fërgesë, a delicious local dish made with peppers, tomatoes, and cheese. After cooking, it’s time to relax and enjoy the meal you have prepared together.
