A classic trip to the "White City" of Estremoz, with whitewashed walls and streets adorned with Portuguese pavement, a phenomenal city, famous for its white marble, its wine, and its clay dolls dating back to the 17th century, has been a UNESCO Intangible Cultural World Heritage since 2017. Besides its two medieval and two abaluarted military waistlines, it is a very rich military heritage. Its religious heritage is astonishingly phenomenal, the civil heritage is also spectacular, the modernism of the 19th and 20th centuries invaded the city of Estremoz with beautiful examples of "Art Nouveau" and "Art Deco".
