Over 15+ tastings, we'll cross Jakarta after dark from the historic lanes of Glodok and colonial Kota Tua to the neighbourhoods of Menteng. Feast on charcoal-cooked kerak telor, fiery ayam penyet, steaming beef bakso, smoky sate, aromatic soto Madura and wok-fired nasi goreng before finishing with steamed palm-sugar sweets. And getting between courses is half the fun. We'll travel like Jakartans by commuter train and tuk tuk, chasing street carts, charcoal grills and neighbourhood favourites across the capital.
