Stalin to Skyscrapers: A Self-Guided Warsaw Tour

Warsaw's skyline is dominated by an iconic symbol of the Soviet era. On this self-guided walking tour, you'll discover the Palace of Culture and Science — once known as Stalin's gift to Poland — and how this enormous 1950s structure reflects the city's complex relationship with its communist past. Starting at the kilometre zero marker near Dmowski roundabout, you'll circle the Palace grounds, passing 30 stone sculptures depicting industry, arts, and science.
