About this experience
Dhaulagiri I is the seventh highest mountain in the world 8176 meters above sea level, remains within the boundry of Nepal. The Dhaulagiri Massif in Nepal extends 70 miles (120 km) from Kali Gandaki west to Bheri. The stunning massif is bounded on the north & southwest by trinutaries of the Bheri River & on the southeast by Myagdi Khola. Mount Dhaulagiri Expedition was first ascent on 13 may 1960 by team of Austrain, swiss & Nepali. Kuet Diemberger, Peter Diener , Trnst Forre, Albin Schelberts, Nyima Dorji & Nawang Dorji were member of expedition.
