Chengdu: Panda Base & Dujiangyan Project Group Day Tour

Visit the adorable pandas at Chengdu Researching Base of Giant Panda Breeding, we can see the pandas from babies to the adult ones. The panda base occupies a huge area with enclosures scattered for different aged pandas. Visitors can have a close watch of pandas playing, eating, sleeping or climbing the trees. Afterwards, drive to Dujiangyan Irrigation Project which is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world; and a wonder in the development of Chinese science. The project consists of three important parts, namely Yuzui(Fish-mouth Dyke), Feishayan(Sand-spilling Dam) and Baopingkou(Precious Bottle Neck), scientifically designed to automatically control the water flow of the rivers from the mountains to the plains throughout the year.
