Your guide will give you a good start on information on the whisky making process. At Glenturret Distillery you will enjoy a guided tour of the production of whisky. Followed by a tasting of a couple of drams. Glenturret is the oldest recorded distillery in Scotland. After we go on a scenic highland drive via Loch Earn. Then a lunch stop at a traditional Highland Pub. Followed by a visit to Doune Castle. Then at Deanston enjoy a unique tasting with their Warehouse 4 experience. Drink whisky straight out of the cask and learn how the wood influences the whisky colour and flavouring. After a fun filled day of whisky, scenery and a castle we then return to Edinburgh.
