After a short introduction to the museum and the Japanese and international contemporary artists it presents, step into the exhibition rooms. Your curator guides you through the current exhibition and the collection, sharing the stories behind the works and details most visitors never hear. With no crowds and no time pressure, you can linger, look closely, and ask as many questions as you like. Continue to the museum's chapel, designed by Kengo Kuma with works by Jean-Michel Othoniel, and experience the space in the quiet evening light.
