Ouzoud Waterfalls Day Trip

The Moroccan waterfalls of Ouzoud, which is a Berber name meaning “the process of grinding grains,” lie in a beautiful and friendly small village. The falls provide visitors with stunning views and strenuous, rewarding experiences for hikers. This journey takes about three hours drive The driver will pick you up from your riad or hotel around 0800hrs heading towards north of Marrakech continuing through the Tadla plains and the picturesque end edge of the high Atlas mountains. Once you get at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, the guide will take you for about two to three hours hike down the waterfall and up through the forest of olive, oak and pine trees. If luck permits, you will have the opportunity to meet some of monkeys that wander around the area. After this pleasant hike you can enjoy a Moroccan lunch in one of the local caffe restaurant situated in the sheltering bosom of the Ouzoud waterfalls. After lunch we will begin our journey back to Marrakech.
