From Rishikesh: 2-Day Nag Tibba Trek & Camping in the Himalayas

The trek begins from Pantwari village, about 125 km from Rishikesh, the trail climbs gradually through oak and rhododendron forests, crossing scenic ridges that reveal stunning layered views of the Himalayas. Nag Tibba is well known for its beautiful sunsets, with clear golden-hour views along the trail. The campsite offers breathtaking sunset scenery. Also known as the Serpent Peak, the summit rewards trekkers with views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, and the Gangotri range, making it an ideal short Himalayan adventure. Trek Route & Itinerary Day 1: Rishikesh – Pantwari – Base Camp Drive 125 km from Rishikesh to Pantwari (approx. 5 hours). Trek 6 km to base camp (3–4 hours, moderate). Overnight camping. Day 2: Base Camp – Nag Tibba Summit – Pantwari – Rishikesh Early morning trek 4 km to the summit (approx. 3 hours). Descend to base camp (1.5 hours), then to Pantwari (2.5 hours). Drive back to Rishikesh. Total trekking distance: approx. 9.5 km one way
