History is full of maritime cities that have based their power and wealth on their ports, and Cagliari is one of them. Although not as famous and glorious as cities such as Venice, Genoa, or Pisa, Cagliari is one of the oldest cities not only in Italy but in all of Europe, something that I, as a guide and native of Cagliari, am very proud of!
