Gran Canaria excursion to Laurisilva forest

The last northern laurel forests are like a jungle of primitive times and are located in the Doramas Natural Park. Your hike begins with a descent through a densely weededed gorge and continues through fairytale landscapes, with fantastic views from the Virgin Valley. Afterwards, you walk the Vuelta del Camel until you reach the Zumacal Gorge, where you can pause for lunch. During the tour, you can walk, admire and enjoy the views of a unique world of endemic plants. After the picnic, you will begin the ascent through a deep and lush gorge, surrounded by huge eucalyptus trees. At the end of the trail, you will pass lemon and orange plantations. In winter, you will also have the possibility to taste some blackberries.
