About this experience
For centuries, in Poland, beer was so important that even the word for cellar - piwnica - means “beer place.”
Polish tradition is no exception. For centuries, beer was so important that it’s still reflected in the language - the Polish word for cellar literally means “beer place.”
Today, the common perception is that Poland is a country of vodka; there are reasons behind that image, and everything is explained during the craft beer tour! / craft beer?
We’ve put together a route for you that takes in three different spots:
- We’ll start with a visit to a brewpub - a bar that brews its own beer in the cellar
- We’ll sample different beer styles, including the only Polish style that has survived to this day!
- We’ll talk about the history of beer from its beginnings to the modern Craft Revolution.
After the tour, not only will you have a better understanding of the world of beer, but you’ll know more about Polish beer than the Poles themselves!
