Three very different sides of Catalonia in one day, with a local guide who actually knows the place. In Girona you walk one of Europe's best-preserved medieval Jewish quarters, climb the old city walls for views across the rooftops, and step inside a cathedral with the widest Gothic nave in the world. Then we head inland to a walled medieval village where the alleys and squares look much as they did centuries ago. We finish on the Costa Brava, in a small fishing village of whitewashed houses tumbling down to the sea.
