About this experience
Welcome to Alamo Square Park, made famous by the intro to Full House (1987)! During the time together, we'll explore the lasting impacts of the 1906 earthquake and fires and how they shaped this exclusive enclave of San Francisco- and had a direct impact on the unique Victorian architecture.
Together, we'll learn about the transformation of the nearby Western Addition to the "Harlem of the West" and even pay a visit to Third Baptist Church, the oldest African-American church in the City.
Before the time together comes to an end, we'll also pay a visit to the "Most Beautiful Painted Lady in the World" in addition to the Archbishop's Mansion, and the William Westerfield House- which used to be known informally as "The Russian Embassy."
If we're lucky, we might receive a visit from San Francisco's *official* mascots! This tour provides a comprehensive overview of the incredible City of San Francisco that you won't want to miss!
