Shore Excursion: Day in Cannes, Grasse, Gourdon, St Paul de Vence

Arrive in the bay of Cannes, passing between the sandy beaches and luxurious designer boutiques. Stroll along the mythical Boulevard de la Croisette, imagining the glamour of the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival. Escape inland and awaken your senses in Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. Either take a guided tour in one of France's most well known perfume factories or wander in the heart of the old town. Follow the course of the mountains and valleys of the French Alps until you arrive at Gourdon, the “Balcony over the French Riviera”. Wind your way down through the gorges of the river Loup on your way to discover the “Jewel of Provence”: Saint Paul de Vence. This, the second most visited village in France is a true artists' paradise, having been frequented by the like of Picasso, Folon, Renoir and Chagall.
