Kyoto Nihon Buyo Geisha Dance Clear View Counter Solo and Pairs

Geisha spend years mastering many arts, and the star of them all is Nihon Buyo, Japan's classical dance. This is not a geisha or maiko show: it is performed by its true specialists, Senju school dancers under Grand Master Senju Einojo, in full costume and makeup. The dance takes place in ZEN Kyoto's glass tea room or on its Zen rock garden stage, right in front of you. Afterwards the dancer explains the meaning of each gesture in a Q&A and teaches you a few movements, and every group gets private photo time. One welcome drink included, just off Nishiki Market. This listing is for the Clear View Counter: teppan counter seats facing the stage, made for solo travelers and pairs (max. 2 per booking). Add lunch or early dinner at ZEN, flagship of Arc, a Wagyu group with Tripadvisor "Best of the Best" winners two years running and a 4.9 Google rating (3,500+ reviews): 80g of A5 Yamagata Heifer Wagyu, the "Queen of Wagyu", grilled before your eyes.
