Over 2000 years ago, the Romans planted the first vineyard in what it is now the Gaillac region, taking advantage of the perfect geography of the place. Over 2 millenials later another Italian, Matteo our expert oenologist and winemaker, will bring you the best of what this wine region has to offer. Large operators offer tours in the Bordeaux or Burgundy vineyards, so come and discover this lesser known wine region, with Matteo 's knowledge and passion about winemaking and tasting! The Gaillac vineyard lies in Southwest France, approximately 45 minutes drive from Toulouse in the Tarn's rolling hills and honey combed stone built villages. Florence will offer you some local cheeses and charcuterie sourced from small local suppliers to accompany the wines. We are independent and not affiliated to any chateau or wineries.
