Tucked south of Xi’an, the green Qinling Mountains are a natural habitat for rare wildlife including giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, crested ibises and takins. The biggest highlight here is Qizai, the world’s only brown giant panda, a world-famous wildlife icon worth visiting. The center is only a smooth 1 hour 30-minute drive south of downtown Xi’an.
