Located in Sitio Balanan, Siaton- about an hour and half drive from Dumaguete, Lake Balanan is 285 meters above sea level and is fed by the Lamarao, Balanan and Managobsob creeks. For those who love nature-trekking, there is a four-kilometer circumferential pathway around the Lake under a canopy of vaious indigenous forest trees.
