You can witness amazing archeological site newly listed on World Heritage. We use local bus round trip to 2 spots or guide's private car (costs 3,000 JPY for a group) You can have lunch at Sannai Maruyama site or Aomori Museum of Art. Guide is quite knowledgeable about Jomon. Both spots have nice shop so you can purchase memorable souvenirs.
