This is the only tour in Split where the ancient palace actually comes back to life around you. A licensed local guide walks you through Diocletian's Palace and the old town across 80 minutes, telling the story of 1,700 years of history on the very stones where it happened. At two points along the walk you put on a Meta Quest 3 headset for two cinematic VR scenes, around 6 minutes in total, and the ruins rebuild themselves in real time. Roman soldiers appear in front of you, Emperor Diocletian steps forward to address the crowd, and the sounds of the Roman era surround you.
