Ushuaia: Escondido & Fagnano Lakes Scenic Tour

Discover the stunning landscapes of Tierra del Fuego on a scenic journey from Ushuaia to Escondido and Fagnano Lakes. Travel along National Route 3 through Carbajal Valley, surrounded by mountains, peat bogs, forests, and glacial scenery. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint before visiting a winter center for a brief introduction to the area. Continue through native lenga and ñire forests to Garibaldi Pass, where spectacular views of Escondido Lake, Fagnano Lake, and the Fuegian Andes await. Head toward Fagnano Lake, passing old sawmills and beaver dams before reaching Estancia La Carmen. Enjoy time to walk along the lakeshore, explore the trails, and take photos from the piers. On the return to Ushuaia, stop for lunch with the option to taste traditional Patagonian lamb (not included).
