Jack the Ripper Tour London: Crime Tour of Whitechapel

Some mysteries refuse to die. More than 135 years on, the identity of Jack the Ripper remains unknown, and the streets where it all happened are still there, waiting after dark. On this evening walking tour, your expert guide takes you deep into Whitechapel, tracing the events of autumn 1888 through the very alleyways, courtyards, and corners where they unfolded. Using historical photographs, you'll see how each location looked at the time — some barely changed in over a century — while your guide walks you through the evidence piece by piece. This isn't just a ghost story. You'll hear who the victims really were and the Victorian East End world they lived in, examine the leading suspects from the plausible to the outlandish, and follow the police investigation that gripped London and spawned the world's fascination with true crime. By the end, you'll have the facts and your own theory.
