Locorotondo is one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Murgia of Trulli in Puglia, the typical local houses. The guided tour begins at Piazza Antonio Mitrano and enters the historic center, where two large columns mark the ancient Porta Napoli. From here, following our itinerary, you can admire buildings such as the former town hall, now the Communal Library, with its simple historic façade and elegant entrance, the Baroque Morelli Palace, with its splendid portal and small wrought-iron balconies, and finally the Mother Church. Dedicated to St.George, the church was built in 1790 on the site of three previous churches dedicated to the same saint.
