Cusco to Puno 3 Day Tour Sun Route Uros Amantani and Taquile

Travel from Cusco to Lake Titicaca over three days. Day one follows the Route of the Sun by tourist bus, with guided stops at the painted church of Andahuaylillas, the Raqchi ruins, a buffet lunch in Sicuani, the La Raya pass at 4,335 m and the Pucara museum, before a night in a three-star hotel in Puno. On day two, a boat takes you to the Uros floating islands and on to Amantani, where a local family hosts you for lunch, dinner and the night. Most guests walk up to one of the island's hilltop temples for sunset, and on most nights the community hall opens for music and traditional dress. On day three, have breakfast with your hosts, then sail to Taquile, known for its hand-knitted textiles, for a walk to the main square and lunch. The boat brings you back to Puno, where the tour ends. Return to Cusco is not included.
