Amanohashidate and Ine Boathouses Day Trip from Osaka and Kyoto

Escape the busy city and discover the breathtaking beauty of northern Kyoto on this one-day tour to Amanohashidate and Ine Funaya Village. Start your journey at Amanohashidate, known as “Heaven’s Bridge” and ranked among Japan’s three most scenic views, where a 3.6 km pine-covered sandbar stretches across the sparkling Miyazu Bay. Enjoy a self-guided walk along the path, visit the historic Chionji Temple, or ride the cable car/monorail to the observatory for a stunning panoramic view. In the afternoon, continue to the picturesque Ine Fishing Village, famous for its traditional wooden Funaya boat houses built right on the water’s edge. Stroll the peaceful waterfront streets, admire the unique architecture, and if you like, take a relaxing boat cruise (optional) to see the village from the sea and feed the friendly seagulls. Whether in the fresh greenery of summer or the romantic snow of winter, Ine offers an unforgettable glimpse of Japan’s coastal charm.
