You’ll visit Alicante’s Central Market with your local host, meet the vendors and shop for fresh ingredients before heading to our kitchen inside a real local restaurant. Then get hands-on with a professional local chef: prepare traditional tapas, make your own sangria and cook authentic Alicante paella from scratch, including the traditional sofrito. Choose between seafood, meat or vegetarian paella. This is more than following a recipe. You’ll discover the ingredients, techniques and traditions behind Alicante’s cuisine, share everything you’ve prepared around the table, and take the recipes home with you.
