See an original document signed by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison and an exhibit and intimate account of Charles Paquet, an enslaved mulatto and master builder components. Explore the Education Center displaying the 1811 Slave Revolt and the Rost Home Colony/Freedman’s Bureau exhibits. The Legacy Room showcases original artifacts and documents from the family members.
