Farm Visit and Nature Hike in Swedish Lapland Private Tour

Be one of our first guests at our new location; Willow of Lapland! Discover life on a sustainable farm in the heart of Swedish Lapland, where nature, history and local culture come together. Part 1. Your visit begins at our family farm, where we share the story of how we came to own this special place and how a tragic local love story, stretching back generations, unexpectedly became part of that journey. You will meet our horses and sled dogs while learning how traditional grazing helps restore the landscape and increase biodiversity. Part 2. We set out on a guided hike through the surrounding countryside. Depending on weather and conditions, we may visit a scenic viewpoint or walk to a peaceful stream considered sacred. Along the way, you'll learn about wildlife, traditional land use and life in rural northern Sweden. We pause for Swedish coffee and refreshments at Stor-Sten or in Bygdell's traditional kåta.
