Canterbury and White Cliffs from Dover

A first day in Kent with a Blue Badge guide, planned around your ship's call at Dover. Paul meets you at the cruise terminal and drives you through the Kent countryside to Canterbury, where he guides you on foot through the medieval centre for 90 minutes. You then have 90 minutes free for lunch, shopping or your own visit to the cathedral. In the afternoon, a 45-minute walk through the medieval Cinque Port town of Sandwich, then the White Cliffs up close at St Margaret's Bay, with a photo stop at Dover Castle on the way back if time allows. You are back at the terminal in good time to reboard. This is a shared day: other travelers may join you, up to 3 in all, in Paul's own car. The day runs from 2 guests: if you are the only guest booked, Paul may cancel and refund you in full, and he tells you 7 days before your call, or within 24 hours if you book later than that. The best first taste of Kent, with time to wander.
