San Diego Haunted La Jolla Self Guided Ghost Tour

At night, La Jolla Cove belongs to the sea lions and the surf, and the village above it goes quiet. That's the setting for this self-guided ghost hunt, played on the Questo app from Ellen Browning Scripps Park, past the Sunny Jim Cave and up through Prospect Street, Wall Street and Girard Avenue. Ten spirits are trapped along the route, all of them original characters, each stuck on the mystery that ended its life. You'll catch them by cracking their puzzles: an evacuation plan for a hotel on fire, four years of class registers with a phantom pupil, a museum's artifacts out of order. Every ghost you catch gives something away about the one that's been lying, and the last puzzle asks you to name it. Plan for about 90 minutes and 1.4 miles.
