Exploring the Colors and Culture of Zócalo Town in Guatapé

In the morning, we’ll arrive at the Piedra del Peñol, a huge rock with 705 steps that we’ll climb for the best panoramic view of Guatapé and its dam. After our climb, we’ll visit the magnificent and colorful town of Guatapé, where we’ll stroll through its lively streets and admire the beautiful zócalo decorations on the picturesque houses. Take a moment to snap some gorgeous photos in the famous Umbrella Street, and perhaps enjoy a coffee or dessert offered by the friendly locals. Of course, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in Guatapé before taking a relaxing boat ride on the water, where our guide will share interesting facts about the reservoir, the dam, and even point out the homes of some of some Colombia’s most famous personalities.
