Dublin's Liberties: Stories, Characters & Hidden History

The Liberties has stories you won't find on a standard Dublin walking tour. Led by a local resident, this experience goes beneath the surface of one of the city's most storied neighbourhoods through the characters who shaped it, from rebels and rogues to folk heroes, gangsters and people whose names have been almost forgotten. At a relaxed pace, the tour winds through main streets, quiet side alleys and pockets of urban green space, uncovering rich histories that rarely make it onto a Dublin walking tour. Carefully researched and brought to life through engaging, story-led guiding, it explores the darker, stranger and more human side of Dublin's history without feeling like a lecture. This isn't a mythology tour or another generic walk through the city. It's the story of a real place, told by someone who lives in it.
