Lake Maggiore Tour with Pickup and Dropoff Included

This private tour will take you to Lake Maggiore, one of the beautiful lakes around Milan. Your day will begin with pick-up by a private driver from your hotel. In about an hour and a half you will reach the city of Stresa and from there you will take a small ferry to Isola Bella, the most famous of the fascinating Borromean Islands, located in the middle of Lake Maggiore. Isola Bella is dominated by the Borromeo Palace, a residence that between 1700 and mid-1800 was visited by Napoleon and his wife Joséphine de Beauharnais, the Princess of Wales and many other members of the European aristocracy. The Villa has a spectacular Italian garden that looks like a paradise rising from the waters of the lake. Here you can also stop for lunch in a typical restaurant overlooking the lake. With another short boat ride (about 10 minutes) you will return to the shores of the lake where your driver will be waiting for you to return to Milan
