In Viscri from Brașov, a Special Beekeeper and his Work

This carefully designed experience allows you to get a taste of the authentic rural life of Transylvania. You will meet a special beekeeper, who is an official honey supplier to the British Royal Court. You will learn all about bees and organic honey production, get kitted up in protective suits and meet the bees, also tasting their various types of honey. Although known to travelers, mostly because King Charles himself owns a house here, Viscri is populated by Saxons, Romanians and Gypsies, with families going about their regular life in a normal way. You will enjoy lunch in the yard of a local lady who will cook for you traditional dishes with fresh ingredients picked directly from her garden. She cooks for whoever joins at the table so the atmosphere is usually lively and people from all over the world meet and enjoy a meal together in a typical household. This is a 3 course lunch, with beverages included (water, elderberry specialty, wine, schnapps, coffee).
