The Ban Long Lao trail offers a more challenging 9 km hike through farmland and forested hills. From Ban Nong Heo, choose a gentler 5 km walk with lunch in Ban Thapene, or extend the route to 9 km and enjoy lunch beside a quiet forest spring. Along the way, experience rural landscapes and local village life, then swim in Kuang Si’s turquoise pools and visit the bear rescue centre. You’ll also stop at Kuang Si Heritage Rice Farm to learn about local rice cultivation.
