About this experience
We start the day driving to the Slanic Salt Mine. This salt mine, located in a wonderful environment was opened for the first time in 1938 and in order to reach it we will go 400 meters down. The microclimate inside makes it one of the favorite places for both locals and travelers.
Also, having a constant temperature inside of never more than 54 degrees Fahrenhei ( 12 degrees Celsius) is a preferred place in a hot summer. Our next stop will be a unique and also an odd place: the mud volcanoes. This small volcanoes stand just a few meters above ground and they exist just because of a unique combination of water and natural gases creating a moon like terrain.
Next stop is Ciolanu Monastery, well known for its late 19th century icons painted by famous artist Tatarascu.
Drive back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
