The 90 minutes of opera

The 90-minute opera at Palais Auersperg is an invitation to relive Mozart's most famous opera in a compact, lively production. “The Magic Flute” unfolds in a specially adapted short version that combines the most important scenes and arias in just 90 minutes. Singing takes place in German, which makes the plot immediately tangible. Highlight : Mozart himself leads through the opera. In the role of composer, Vinicius Kattah accompanies and tells the story with charm and wit – making the work a personal experience. The performance takes place in the historic premises of Palais Auersperg – the place where Mozart himself worked. The opera is musically designed by the soloists of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra and five internationally renowned opera singers : inside, including Thomas Tatzl and Brigitta Simon.
