Prasith and Reap Temples Private Day Trip from Phnom Penh

Phnom Prasith and Phnom Reap Temples are located approximately 25 kilometers from Phnom Penh. The journey itself offers views of natural lakes, rice fields, traditional houses and locals going about their daily lives. Phnom Prasith is situated on the top of a hill providing breathtaking views of the surrounding country side. The temple is on the eastern summit of two hills and visitors will enjoy the rich architecture, stupas, sculptures and art works including a large reclining Buddha reaching nirvana. A short journey back down the hill leads you to Phnom Reap temple or alternatively named Prasat Vihear Suor. It is a relatively new structure finished in 1998. It follows the architectural style of Angkor Wat and is often called the New Angkor Wat. You will enjoy beautiful sculptures of ancient kings and Buddha.
