Barcelona’s Egyptian Museum, the only Egyptian-themed museum in Catalonia, offers an in-depth look at more than three thousand years of Ancient Egyptian history. Through the Jordi Clos Collection of Egyptian Archaeology, visitors can explore an extraordinary collection of sculptures, sarcophagi, mummies and everyday objects that reveal the life and beliefs of this fascinating civilization. Thematic rooms address aspects such as religion, funeral practices and the role of pharaohs, while temporary exhibitions and cultural activities provide new perspectives on the Egyptian legacy.
