Sani Pass and Lesotho from Durban Kingdom in the Sky Experience

What sets our tour apart is the journey itself. Departing from Durban, we travel through the scenic KwaZulu-Natal Midlands to Underberg, where the adventure begins. From there, our experienced local guides take you up the iconic Sani Pass in a specially equipped 4×4 vehicle, navigating rugged terrain, mountain streams, and the famous switchbacks that have made this route legendary. Along the way, you'll experience spectacular sandstone cliffs, crystal-clear rivers, and rolling grasslands dotted with colourful wildflowers and proteas. Our guides bring the landscape to life through fascinating stories about the history, geology, wildlife, and people of the region. At the summit, cross into Lesotho, the "Kingdom in the Sky," and take in breathtaking mountain vistas stretching to the horizon. Combining adventure, culture, and world-class scenery, this is an unforgettable experience and one of Southern Africa’s most iconic day tours.
