Prospect Park Beginner Birdwatching Tour

I’m Steph — bird-influencer and host of That Quirky Bird Girl, where I share the joy, curiosity, and life lessons that come from connecting with birds. My goal is simple: help people slow down, look up, and discover that nature is all around us, even in the heart of NYC. Together, we’ll search for incredible birds like Sparrows, Blue Jays, Cardinals, Robins, and more. This stroll is perfect for beginners and bird lovers alike. We’ll learn what to look and listen for, get comfortable using binoculars, and uncover fun bird stories. Every season brings something new, with nearly 200 species passing through NYC. Winter brings ducks and resident birds, spring and fall bring colorful migrants, and summer highlights nesting birds raising the next generation.
